VICTORY 1: Energy?

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

So... last night the strangest thing happened. Last night, when I'm usually exhausted and ready to crawl into bed, I got a burst of energy! To most people that's probably not a big deal; however, I am a special case. I have an extremely low metabolism (and correspondingly low energy level) . Yes, tons of people say that but for me it is true. My basal metabolic rate is so low that my resting body temperature is around 95ish to 96 and some change. Not possible, you say? Well sorry, but it is and has been documented by my physicians over the years. Anywhoo... I GOT A BURST OF ENERGY!!! I made dinner, breakfast for the next 2 days, washed and put away dishes, did laundry, and cleaned the house. o.0 Could this clean eating, whole foods, 80/20 paleo, low GI diet be the key to allowing my body to work the way it is supposed to? Well, who knows but I will take it!! IS THIS HOW NORMAL PEOPLE FEEL??

My "normal" temp is 97.4 on average. So I totally know where you're coming from. If I go to a new dr and they take me temp and it's 98.6 I have a hard time convincing them it's a fever...
