BLC 21 Week 1 at a glance

It's Wednesday I woke up excited to weigh in, and see my work from last week validated. Imagine my suprise when the scale showed a 2 pound difference. I know I know its still a loss but I was hoping for at least 5 pounds. I then looked over what I did right and what areas needed improving, and was okay with my loss.

Things that were on point:
- I had a perfect score on the TNT
- I did great on the weekend challenge
- I got a pair of Nikes for LCW
- I drank a gallon of water 4 days out the week
- I tracked my food accurately most days
- I exercised
- I interacted with my team.

Things that need work:
- I need to push myself harder when working out
- the days I did not drink my gallon of water is because I had coke those days
- My mood was all over the place, I have some personal issues that need to be addressed instead of ignored.
- I ate out more days then I should have, and went over my calories.( yes they were tracked but that does not make the calories balance out)

This week will be better for me, and I may not get the number that I am looking for but most importantly I will not stop trying to make better choices then I made the week before.

    Congratulations on the 2#s loss. Five will come soon enough. Excellent way of analyzing your week and seeing where you can improve. One thing I've learned about this journey is...every so often we have to make adjustments and changes. When we think we're doing everything on point a little tracking, weighing and honesty will tell the true story. Keep at're gonna get there.

    Good job on losing for your weigh-in. Don't expect to lose 5lbs per week, though! That's an awful lot, and your body might have a hard time adapting to it. 1-2lbs/week is a lot healthier, and then you're less likely to have excess skin issues in problem spots!

    Congrats on the loss! You're right; tracking everything doesn't balance out the numbers but you have a nice clear picture of what you can tweak this week. Love your positive attitude! Let's bring it this week!

I did a blog similar to this about my positives & negatives. That is what we need to focus on. this is a journey & we are learning how to be better & healthier people.

I think you had an awesome first week - you were always so positive & such a great teammate!!

My advice is to QUIT THE COKE!

Great job on the positive changes - 1 gal of H2O is hard to take per day - 1/2 gal (8 glasses) is hard enough for me to get down!

Keep up the great work! CONGRATULATIONS ON THE 2 LBS!!!!
