Week 4 - I Get It Now

I know what it is going to take to get me to goal by April. I may not like it but if I want to hit my goal weight I have to do it. I have to stick to about 1500 calories a day and not go over. I'm finding out based on my exercise level that this is what works.
My goal for this week is to stick to 1500 calories 5 days of the week. The other 2 days I'm going to allow myself to an extra 300 calories. Why 300 because that is my high calorie limit on sparks. I have to just do it and be faithful no matter what. Sounds easy right but some days I know it really will be hard to stick to. So I have to come up with strategies to deal. One that seems to work is hot-hot herbal tea. Yes it has to be piping hot because it will take me a while to drink it and then usually when I'm done, the urge to snack is gone. I also think that I'm going back to closing the kitchen. I'm thinking either 8 or 9 pm. Sometimes I don't come back from the gym until after 8pm. As long as I have preplanned a snack and I'm within my calorie range, I'm fine with eating after 8pm. I just need to stop the, yep you guessed it, mindless snacking.
I have all the tools I need to make it happen. How badly do I want this?
