How I am saving $300 dollars

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

At the beginning of the year I started a new diet like so many. My diet eliminated food I might be intolerant to(The Virgin Diet). I did not eat Wheat, Milk, Soy, Sugar & all artificial sweeteners, Corn, Peanuts, Eggs for 21 days.
I feel so much better. By eliminating these food I have lost weigh, but gained energy.
The best thing I am not taking decongestant any more. Every night I would have to remember to take my allergy meds or I would wake up congested with a foggy headache.
I have not take these meds in 1 week and I am feeling great. This is the time of year when I would have to take the meds the most. Well no more. I am saving cash.

One team I am on The Slowest Loser has challenged us to help hunger. The money I save by not taking decongestant will add up to around $200-$300 dollars a year, if not more. This money I am going to give to the Salvation Army at the end of the year. I am going to add $1 for every pound I lose. So everyday I am going to put the money in a glass jar just to remind me how much getting healthy and losing weight can add up to big savings.
