My 3W's.....and weight loss!

Tuesday, January 22, 2013

I went to water aerobics this morning and the pool was not actually felt kind of comparison. There were 8 hardy souls there plus the instructor.......and we all got a good workout. I don't think it will be quite so difficult getting up and out the door tomorrow morning.
I had my nephrologist appointment today....and everything looked good......he just wanted to be sure that my potassium stayed stable with the new medicine he started me on two weeks ago. I don't have to go back to see him until July, however, I still have to get an abdominal CT scan done in May, to recheck the cysts on my kidneys......hopefully they will not have changed and I can "forget" about them for a while longer. emoticon
My doctor seemed to notice my consistent weight loss, and asked me what I was doing.....told him I was water walking, water aerobics and watching what I ate.....kind of like the 3W's. I must not forget that SparkPeople and Spark Friends have done a lot to keep me on track and accountable. I was very surprised at what the scale read today(I lost 6 pounds) and I will not be too upset if I do a little backsliding........I moved my ticker cautiously, knowing I might have to move it back.....however, I know I can reach this level again even if I do gain a little. emoticon I year ago, I would not have expected to be at this I can't wait to see how far I can go! emoticon One of these days, I may even try on a smaller pant size, just for fun. LOL
Well, I have just missed the I don't know what the weather report said.....I guess I will have to wait and see tomorrow when I get up.
Time to settle down and sleep..... emoticon emoticon Lynel
