Strong day today

Lots of successful moments today:

emoticon for two days have not touched that @*&# candy dish at work. Oh, it was tough today, I heard it singing my siren song, but I stuck to my carrots and hummus and didn't have that "just one" that would lead to "just 40".

emoticon eating mindfully, feeling true hunger in-between meals and snacks

emoticon took a 15 minute break at work and walked a co-worker's dog (we have dogs and cats at the agency) -- felt great to get outside and away from the desk

emoticon walked the treadmill for 30 minutes tonight

Feeling like I really want it, and acting like I mean it

    Hooray! Down with that freaking candy dish! Sometimes though, unless it's a trigger food, it's OK to have some. Like yesterday, I ate a truffle, and since I hadn't had one in what seems like forever, it seemed like I ate five. It was enough. (Stupid PMS is making me crave chocolate.) But, give yourself a reward! I'm rooting for you. emoticon
