so explain to me how im drinking a diet mt.dew when 8 oz is 0 calories but 16 is 10. Its been awhile since i was in school but 2 x 0 was not 10. I find it ammusing but im still drinking it . I guess I could stop at 8oz but I want the 90 grams of caffine. I have been doing the treadmil. happy to say not only have I emproved my time by 8 minutes on the mile but I have been doing more then a mile. I took today off I did 3 miles yesterday and my legs are reminding me of it. plus its hard when no one else is home to watch the baby. she trys to join me on the treadmil so I may have to pull out the pack and play and stick her in it but I know that will come with protest. I may get some time out of her if I put her in the high chair and some puff cereal.
Bitter cold today I wore jeans and a scrub top to work my new rule if it is under 20 degrees im wearing jeans . we have a wind advisory that says it feels like it is zero to 15 below so yes its cold. I only have 2 pair of jeans that fit im in the inbetween stage I had to toss my 20s they were just to big i was getting tired of pulling them up. I have 2 18 that fit good and i have about 5 more that are just a little too tight I think if i lost 10lb they would fit great so im not going to buy any when I know i will be able to fit into them soon. I also bundled up my 3x scrubs and im going to sell them .
Rebekah has her top teeth showing so I know she was being fussy because of her teeth she is doing better with eatting.

i'm sure you'll find a way to keep baby happy while you exercise. we just have to keep adapting....i was riding my bike inside on the stand-thingie (because i'd kill myself if it tried it outside in 23 degree weather with ice everywhere), and my little dog was chasing my feet, and trying to jump up on me. i was afraid i'd hurt her, so i put her in the basket. she was happy enough there.
for what it's worth, there are a lot of studies that show diet drinks can cause weight gain and/or hamper weight loss.

Water has zero calories. And in most cases, is free if you drink from the tap or the fridge. I always have a glass of icewater with me throughout the day. I prefer it to all soda, colas, juices, etc. Even wine and beer. My caffeine choice is 2 cups of coffee in the a.m. You could solve the math issue by not drinking Mt Dew or any other cola. It would only take about 2 weeks to get the caffeine urge out of your system and you would be better off.
I've lost weight on the Sonoma Diet and the first ten days you give up all sweets, including artificial sweeteners, which includes diet drinks. I rarely drink a soda and when I do, consider it a treat.
Figure out how much you would save by not buying diet drinks at all. And the baby, would you give it to her? If you wouldn't give it to your baby, why would you put it into your own body? I don't mean to be rude, just giving you my opinion. My daughter-in-law, whom I love dearly, is over weight and she drinks coke all day long. Not even the calorie free kind. I wish she would give it up.

Per the U. S. Food and Drug Administration
N7. When the caloric value for a serving of a food is less than 5 calories, can the actual caloric value be declared?
Answer: The caloric value of a product containing less than 5 calories may be expressed as zero or to the nearest 5 calorie increment (i.e., zero or 5 depending on the level). Foods with less than 5 calories meet the definition of “calorie free” and any differences are dietarily insignificant. 21 CFR 101.9(c)(1)
N8. Should a value of 47 calories be rounded up to 50 calories or rounded down to 45 calories?
Answer: Calories must be shown as follows:
50 calories or less--Round to nearest 5-calorie increment: Example: Round 47 calories to “45 calories”
Above 50 calories--Round to nearest 10-calorie increment: Example: Round 96 calories to “100 calories”
21 CFR 101.9(c)(1) Also see Appendix H for rounding guidelines.
I'm guessing that 8oz of diet mt. dew has 4 calories.
