There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when circumstances permit. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results. - Unknown


So to clear things up, with my broken nose I am allowed no physical activity, including walking. After 6 weeks (or however long afterwards it takes for it to feel better) I am to ease back into exercise by walking only for at least 2 weeks. emoticon

Today was a pretty good day. I do feel improvement in the nose, I'm able to wear my glasses again with just a little discomfort. I ate well today, I kicked my cravings to the door! I am starting to get cramps, and when I do I crave junk food so bad. When my craving hit at 5:00, I drank a glass of water, and then went down to supper at 6:00. I did have a little bit of some unhealthy foods, but I took a very small portion, just to taste, enough to satisfy.

Now I am headed to bed, to try to get some extra sleep tonight, so good night Sparkers.

    You must have done a NUMBER on your nose. Take care of it, you want it working right down the line!

Just take it easy for a bit, watch your food, and start planning for when you are healthy again.

    Wow, sorry to hear that, well follow your doctor's orders and watch what you eat...soon you will be able to do some cardio work but first get better.

    I am not allowed to do any exercises at all, as it is a breathing issue.

    i have lots of interests but only a few commitments. but in the past i have done well in the past my planning to commit.

    Hey lady,
Stay strong. This is the type of challenge that would throw me completely off track and I'd be starting all over... best thing I can say is stay within a lower calorie intake and watch out for the bad carbs. You can still lose weight without exercise... it'll just be a little slower.
