New week started...

I took my friend Mary to Olympia to a doctors appointment yesterday so I missed my Monday workout. I did however go today and plan to try to get there Saturday also to make up for the missed day. I had a good workout today. I was able to walk laps in the river for an hour non stop. I did a few more laps after a rest also. It felt good to be able to go for an hour again. I know that I will have good days and bad days for awhile until I recoup completely, but I am happy that I am getting good days again.

I hope to be able to join aqua zumba again beginning next month. I had hoped to be able to add it in again this week but I think that would be just to much. I have a friend who teaches a land based zumba class and if I can I am going to try and take her class in about six months. It may take more like a year but I think it is another good goal to work towards.

I was enjoying the exercise before I had to quit for a bit, but I am now back to hating it! I will not give up though. I know it will get better and I will feel better in the long run.

    You just keep at it and it will be enjoyable again. There are days here and there when I just hate doing it, but most days I look forward to exercising because I see how much it helps me. You are smart to listen to your body and not force things ahead of what you are able, yet continue to challenge yourself to do what you can. Good for you!
