Day 22/365 of 2013

I am tired tonight! I went to work at 7am and got home at 7pm. Thank goodness hubs had yummy warm chili for me to eat. It's only 14 degrees. Brrrrr emoticon

I walked a lot today so I am counting that as activity. As far as nutrition goes, I did really well minus some snacking this afternoon. I still stayed in ranges however I need to do better with snacking. I had cottage cheese and pretzels this afternoon but then I had a serving of cereal with almond coconut milk. I should have avoided the cereal and almond milk but I ate it any way. I am not really sure why unless it was stress induced. It could have been worse honestly so I'm not complaining but I should try to be more careful. I still have 84 calories left over so I still call this success!!!

Side note - don't you hate being on hold with terrible music playing? I know - me too!!! lol!

    I think you made a good choice on the late snack, working that long and stress will do it.
UGH hate some on hold music escpecilly the loud stuff, it is soooooo annoying.

    What's worse is being on hold, listening to terrible music that you get stuck in your head and it plays over and over and over in your mind all day LONG! I'm not naming any particular songs here, but you know the ones.

Hey, if you were within your calorie range, then you should give yourself a pat on the back. I think there might be some benefit to cycling your calories anyway. You know, one day eating on the lower end and the next day eating at the upper end, etc. I don't have any proof, but I do know we've got to keep our bodies guessing. Tricky boogers.

    I do not believe we have not seen a day over 40 degrees in weeks... had snow two days before Christmas and it is still all over my yard, driveway and street. Most nights are in the mid teens... which always makes my head numb and my body longing for hot thick stew, hot cocoa, and hot fudge chocolate cake... but... I am slowly turning to hot broth, hot tea with lemon, and for dessert... a nice hot filling, satisfying bowl of oat meal with sugar substitute and cocoa powder (it may sound yucky but it is Yummy emoticon .... give it a try... habit will win out!

side note... I just plain hate being on hold regardless of the music... lol
