For the next 12 weeks I will be participating in a weekly weigh in team called BLC, round 21. I have been assigned to the awesome Sassy Shamrock Sheriffs team! I gotta say I am really loving the way the captains are doing everything. I put my exercise minutes and calorie deficits on a spreadsheet. So awesome! Part of this weekend's challenge was to blog about my goals for this challenge. What do i want to achieve in the next 12 weeks. I though about it and decided on
1. Stick to working out 5 days a week.
~5 is actually pushing it for me. Thankfully the streaker guidelines say minimum 5 days a week. Can I keep it up once Work starts up again?
2. Lose 8-10 pounds.
~Last year I maintained my weight for 12 months. I would lose a little and then gain it back. I want to actually lose weight and keep it off.
3. Try new workouts.
~I hate to admit it, but I have been using the same 4 workout DVDs for 2 years. Part of it is that I'm too cheap to buy more, and also a little afraid of trying new things. I'd like to find something else that I like.
One of my Sparkfriends has a wonderful quote on her page that keeps popping up in my head. It goes something like, "If you want something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done." I'm ready to try!
