First Day Back

Today was my first day back at the gym after a few months on hiatus. It actually felt good to workout again I thought I was going to hate it because i felt lazy after being on winter break for a month and basically doing absolutely nothing. My workout music kept me going and I just got fell into some type of zone. The plan is to go 4 days out the week. I don't really want to set I schedule but I think I should. I really need to get through the 1st two weeks. I have never and I repeat never kept to my 4 days a week plan. The 1st week I start off good but buy the 2nd week I start slacking just going once or twice. When the 3 week hits I'm nowhere to be found. Then I start the same process over again the next month. Which is shame because I payed my membership for the whole year and it wasn't cheap. It's about to expire 2/13 and I know I should have gone wayyyyy more than went but I always had an excuse. So when it expires I am going to renew it and def go more often. I just need to get over the 2 week hump and stick to my 4 days out the week no matter what. I even came up with a rewards system for myself once I lose 20lbs I'm going to the salon to get my hair done. 30lbs I'm getting a thigh tattoo that I have been dying to get 40lbs is my personal favorite because I'm going Spring/Summer shopping depending on how long it takes to get there. As to not be tempted to spend my money on any of these things I'm going to let my boyfriend hold my credit card hostage because when it comes to clothes I am an addict. So we shall see how it goes but I am more motivated than ever to lose this weight and get my ass into a bikini this summer emoticon

    Great goals and rewards you've set up. My goal since last Summer was to work on being consistent. This is a biggie for me in a lot of areas. I started counting on my blogs and now I think I'm around 212 days!!! I count consistency as doing something to get me to my first goal of 50#s loss. Working out regularly, eating on point for the majority of the week, taking in my water. Now there have been some side tracks (surgery) but I jumped right back to my workouts. The only thing that keeps me out of the gym Monday-Friday is illness, or a church event, otherwise I go straight from work. I change clothes before I leave work as I know going home won't work for me. So perhaps setting a reward for being consistent with your 4 day gym trips. Each week you do 4 days you get __________.
