Trying to stay motivated!

Tuesday, January 22, 2013

Good Morning Fellow Spark People :)

Today is my first day of 100% clean eating. I have been a vegetarian for 6 years now, but I have been the kind that loaded up on cheese, fast food, and what I thought was "vegetarian" foods. Thats what I get for becoming something without doing all the research first. I am extremely excited to start this clean eating, I even got my boyfriend on track. Him and I have way different goals, but we both want to live a healthy lifestyle. I am trying to lose weight while he is trying to bulk up. Its nice to have someone who has become in love with fitness and nutrition as I have.

I am hoping that having this blog will help me stay on track and stay motivated. I am going to try my hardest to update daily, between work and school it will be difficult but I know I need this. A good support group :)

Talk to ya soon.

I hope u stay with your goals, but don't be to hard on yourself if you 'mess up." Men can lose weight FAST and get in shape, so comparing your succes with a guy isn't good. My adult children do the P90X work out and they have had great success. My son's gf went to a doctor for a diet and saw a nutritionist. She is 172#. In 3 weeks she is down 3#. My son can drop 15# in 3 weeks. (That is what he gained during the holidays when he didn't work out or watch what he drank and ate.) Now it is the 22nd of Jan. and he has it all off. emoticon

I commend you. I am not a vegetarian, but I don't eat meat often. I like meat, it does not like me. Beef does not digest well in my system, chicken makes me itch and I am allergic to most seafood.

I love vegetables, but I don't even eat them often. I am a very picky eater. I need lots of work.

Self-motivation is the key. Keep focused for success. You can do it. Go for it.
