I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!
So starting today I am starting to take chia seeds. The first time I heard about chia seeds immediately the first thought I had was the chia pet! lol According to my nutritionist, I shouldn't be taking flax seed so I started to do research on my own on what "superfood" I could take alongside my fresh juices. I watched Hunger for Change and they mentioned the chia seeds and some benefits that occur when taking the chia seed. They are supposed to be taken once a day, and it has no taste so you can mix it with foods and drinks. I will keep everyone posted on how I'm doing with it! (1st day was today!)
Today I made a "Mean Green" juice which consisted of kale, cucumber, celery, lemon, green apples, and ginger. I haven't tried it yet but I'm looking forward to later today! I made sure I ate breakfast this morning and I'm set a goal to drink at least 8 glasses of water
I'm really bad about not drinking water. I have been good about my sleep and I hope to continue!
Lately I have been thinking about what's motivating me to lose the weight and so I decided I am going to compile a list and when I finish I will share my thoughts.
On my desktop at work I use the sticky note tool to write notes to myself so on them I have my short-term goals and long-term goals plus another note reminding myself that I am an amazing, beautiful, intelligent human being and to keep smiling!

The reason why my nutritionist recommended chia and not flax is because I already have messed up hormones and take meds for them and taking flax would throw it off and also because it slows down the blood flow.
