Back to work back to being good.

So yesterday I was not my best. I had the day off and I tried to grow myself into my couch. I did manage the kids sleep over this weekend but when that ended I decided Mommy needed some down time. Needless to say I did not exercise unless you count changing channels on the TV yesterday. That is okay though because I did manage to burn over 3000 calories last week in exercise alone and I have only taken off one day of exercise since new year and that was because of a digestional issue. So I awarded myself a day off.
This morning I got up and did 30 minutes on the elliptical, a toning video and then squeezed in 13 minutes on the bike before having to get in the shower and ready for work. I am planning on doing a couple more videos tonight to make up for taking the day off yesterday. I know in my January challenge I am suppose to do a 10 minute toning a day but I feel I over compensated the rest of the week and it is okay to take one day off every so often. I knew I needed some downtime since I have dance practice on Wednesday night, Cubscouts Thursday and Friday, and out of town on Sunday visiting family. Saturday will be my only day of no obligation and it will probably be filled with cleaning the house or running errands.
I went to the grocery store on Friday and found in the freezer section welch's antioxidant frozen fruit (Cherries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries). I thought I would make a yogurt parfait for breakfast a few days this week. So I took the fruit out of the freezer last night and made one this morning. It was great! I think I will have to go back and buy some more of those frozen fruits packs. Maybe try some different varieties. I normally put fruit on french toast instead of syrup but I think I will have to make more parfaits in the future.
