So I'm on my 3rd day of this "diet". Trying to eat within an 8 hour time frame takes some planning. I work a 10 hour day, starting at 6am. So, I have been waiting until 11 am for my first meal so I can have dinner with my family at 6. The trick is to eat the "8 Power Foods" during the day at every meal and snack (not all 8, just get the 8 in during the day). What this makes you do, is eat healthy choices and not be so hungry and because you only have 8 hours, you naturally eat less. So far, I am liking this. On some days, I am eating for 16 hours and that adds up to too many calories. Also, this diet recommends working out first thing in the morning, before you eat. Since I have to be at work at 6am, I have been getting up at 3:30 and working out. I know, I totally rock. Have I lost any weight?? Not really, but, I am going to stick with this because really what it does is FORCE me to eat consciously. It is the mindless eating that has gotten me where I am. HUGS!!!
