Push That Tush -- stalling out

I've been thru 3 mindsets of weightloss that drive me crazy:

1. I start out with a bang, full of motivation and dedication,
make a nice jumpstart, get cocky and
start allowing myself too much leeway.
My so called progress stalls out into a full blown plateau.

2. I start allowing myself starch carbs
(parboiled rice, whole wheat bread, and oatmeal)
and stall out into a full blown plateau.
I am definitely starch and sugar sensitive.

3. I watch the food but I don't do enough exercise
and stall out into a full blown plateau.

I gotta push my tush more



I need to go back to doing more of my SparkPeople Exercise DVDs
and put more time into it

    You brought up a good thought with the oatmeal stalling you. I used o eat a bowl every morning for over a yr. Finally figured out that I needed to have bran in the morning so have switched over to Raisin Bran and I broke the plateau I have been on for way to long!!! Wouldn't have thought of it until I switched and things began to fall into place!

    Find something that you can do that doesnt seem like exercise ... Or do what you love to do .. For me it is walking I can do that when all else fails and recently all else has failed lol ... just keep pushing at it and find your stride again emoticon

    I would be stalled right there with you! I however have increased my exercise mins, as I write I am over 1200 for the month, so frustrating! Oh well, just keep tweaking to find the magic to work and break the plateau!
