no time like the present....

Im a special needs mom who always put herself last. I have come to conclusion that my family will be happier if Im doing something for myself.Happy mom happy life. So as I hate to admit I always made sure my husband and daughter ate healthy. I even taught my daughter about portion sizes.Now as I find myself unhappy with my appearance and health.Im determined to feel and look better.My goal is more exercise and kick my pepsi habit. Its hard to concentrate on yourself when you spend every moment worrying about your child. But if I continue to neglect myself who will care for my family.So here I am week number two nine lbs lost. many more to go. Looking for other special needsmom warriors.

    emoticon start - Try and set a couple of mini goals to reach each day - whether with food or exercise -this will help to keep you motivated after a while you find the changes will seem natural.
