The Why Behind The Plan

The coaching session today during Sparkcoach is to do a little soul searching as to why I'm making this lifestyle change. I have to admit, while I will be thrilled when I drop my 75 pounds (and maybe more after that, but 75's a good start), there are other reasons why I want and need to make this change.
#1: I do not want to end up in bad health like my one set of grandparents. They have had poor healthy lifestyle choices (food, not exercising, etc) for most of their adult life. Now neither of them can get around very well and they're pretty miserable. I don't want to end up like that.
#2: I want to spend a long time with my family - and spend TIME with them doing lots of things. That means being able to hike, or go for a bike ride, or just do SOMETHING.
#3: Purely selfish - I don't want to have a big ol' belly!
There's 3 reasons. I'm sure there are more, but right now that's all I have.
