Weekly Motivitation: 'Parking spot'

'The road to success is dotted with many tempting parking places'- author uknown

What is your Plan to avoid that temptation of parking, giving in or giving up on
your goals?

I see so many 'parking places' that it is easy to just stop and take it easy and
let life move on around and accept whatever life brings on.

So I am going to learn to place obstacles/distractions or things that just frustrate me in these parking places. Remind myself that this may end up stopping my progress on reaching my goals This time around II am placing my ScaleI emoticon in that 'parking place'. that means that I am Not getting on the scale. I will NOT be obsess by numbers.
I will let my activity level and how I fit in my clothes tell my story and show my success and
hard work.

I might stop and visit it once in a blue moon, but I won't park my Body again, I stayed in that spot for over 108 days after stepping on that scale, so this time around, it's a no-no.o
I am not going to let numbers discourage me or the problems that may come up
in my life. I am inviting all to place something in your 'parking spot' -something that
you think or might bring you down. It might be even your job- Just remind yourself
that you have control. Let it park and not you..that is what I am determine to do.

I am going to place the cafe at my job in my spot too, because after a stressed out
night I will go buy high carb foods. My plan is to go another way when I exit the building
in the morning. I'm planning to stay in control...


Motivation:

    Woo hoo! It sounds like you have some good plans to get healthier! I like your idea about "parking places"- good one :-)
