Day two - treadmill 2, me 0!!!

I think I am going to love my new treadmill, but it will be after a period of courtship!
On day one, I pushed the wrong button, the one for a weight loss walking experience - I didn't read the manual to know what I was getting into. It started out very slowly, then a little faster, then up came the incline feature ....
oops, I was not expecting that one. I needed to slow down a bit .... okay, I lost that one. I quit at 15 minutes.
Day two, today, I thought "I am going to try that one again!" The timer starts at 30 minutes, we start out slowly, just like yesterday, then faster and steeper, "I can do this!" I'm hanging in there , I am halfway through the 30 minutes. Then faster and steeper yet , whoa, I need to slow up , I am too out of shape, darn! I push stop, and check my heart rate , it was 160, I thought it must have been at least 200! Ok, I get a sip of water and back on it, I made the 30 minutes, but not as was presented to me, I had to modify it a bit. And let me just say, I am still sweating! Tomorrow I am not going to stop!!!!! I will do this!!!
I could just pick my pace and walk for a longer time, and sometimes I will. But I am stubborn, and I will master this beast!
That's what I get for slacking off a bit this past month! At a steady pace and a level surface, when I walk outside, I can walk for a long time. This is more challenging - just what I need to get off the plateau I've been on! Wish me luck!
