Family pictures taken back before Christmas, not liking how the jacket is pulling

Well I haven't blogged in a bit, but since my last blog I have had some unfortunate events. I broke my nose, ironically, while playing intramural basketball for more exercise lol. So now I am sidelined for at least 6 weeks, well shoot. But this could be a good thing. A good thing how? Well now that I am not exercising I have had to modify my calorie intake to accomodate that, and I am being more mindful of what I am eating. So let's see how this keeps up.

Sorry about your injury! You are very smart and dedicated to adjust your calorie intake to compensate for not being able to exercise hard. You will get it keep going through the bad days, you got this!

Good attitude. You're focusing on what you can control (your eating) at this moment. I bet you'll come out of the 6 weeks feeling great because you set out a plan (mindful of your eating) and stuck to it! Remember to reward yourself when that happens!

To clarify, I am not allowed to do any physical activity for at least 6 weeks, as the broken nose interferes with proper breathing. After the 6 weeks, as long as I feel fine, I am to ease back into exercise by only walking for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Do what movement you can and good luck with the eating! That's the hardest part for me.

OWWWW! Seems like you should be able to find some exercises you can do, you must mean that you can't play basketball for that long. Frustrating, I'm sure.
Here's to a quick six week and successful recovery!
