Peppermint oil...have you tried this?

Monday, January 21, 2013

I am wondering if anyone has tried this? It is not touted as a miracle cure for weight loss, but sure sounds like something that could be both very pleasant AND very helpful!

I love the smell of peppermint so if I can find it, will try. Never heard about that theory either.

Never heard of it as a diet aid, but do know that if rubbed on tummies takes away menstrual pains.

We put some of the oil on a paper towel and laid it on the filter in the furnace. Every time it kicks on, we get more great smell emoticon

Very interesting. I wonder if just keeping a bottle near and sniffing it would work versus spraying it as there would probably be chemicals in it that way. Too, I wonder if diluting some of the oil in a spray bottle with water and spraying it that way would work too? It's well worth checking out, thanks for posting this. I signed up for the newsletter too. emoticon

I use peppermint Breath Savers to prevent hunger and to keep my mouth moist while exercising.

It's probably less expensive than the oil..................

it is similar to chewing a piece of peppermint gum or brushing your teeth. Food never tastes as good when you have that flavor in your mouth so I could see this working. worth a shot anyways. Smelling peppermint helps with headaches as well so if it doesnt work for eating it can be used in other ways!
