I wasn't here over the weekend. I didnt do any tracking. I did get a 2 mile run on the treadmill in. I spent the weekend away with a great friend of mine. We get away once a year to refresh from motherhood and marriage. It was a great weekend, cold, but great! I learned new ways of parenting my children in a Godly way instead of an ungodly way.
Part of my 2013 goals were to be a more self controlled, honest person. Well, I honestly have not been a very inspiring mother this past year. 2013 will be different. I am very excited to use what I have learned. Also, this year parenting is just another area that i'm "getting back in shape". This is another step toward improving my life as a whole. Not just fitness and nutrition but in many other areas of life such as parenting and marriage.

    I think you're right. I've found that good parenting takes lots of practice and a conscious effort. Both of my kids are still pretty young and I still have lots to learn. I thought parenting would just come naturally. IT DOES NOT! Just like eating healthily, if you have a bad moment, it doesn't mean you have to throw in the towel and make the rest of the day bad too. And like MPERTERSON2311 also said, don't beat yourself up, I'm sure you're doing great.
