darn it anyhow!!!!

Ok so my scale must be broken I gained 3 pounds this week can u believe it I cant.I am so tired of trying to lose weight its unbelievable. I tried nutrasystem gained weight, tried Sensa and gained 15 pounds then i was at 246 and i lost 20pounds and slowly was putting it back on so I started here on 1/6 and I lost 3 pounds the first week and now here the second week I gained it back on again.I only went over my calorie limit 1 time this week. I just can't win I am so mad!!!!well on the brighter side I was number 1 in sparkpoints in many of my teams so that is great I was so haoppy to see my name under number 1 ,2 or 3- I love it.I will just keep spinning the wheel and wont weigh myself anymore and I will get sparkpoints and be happy.yeah right!!!!If I sound a little sarcastic you'll have to excuse me I just freakin gained 3 pounds on my big lifestyle change.I am sooooooo angry. Ok I have been down on myself long enough- time to get more serious now its come down to being a war and I am gonna win the war no matter what. I can do this I know I can. I am going to be the hero so everyone just watch and see.Next week there will be a loss if I have to cut a limb off to do it so stay tuned because this is continued to next week. make sure u check and see the results. emoticon emoticon emoticon

  I hear your frustration sister. I have been all over the scales this week while sticking with the program. So I made some changes; do the treadmill twice a day (for 5 days), but in shorter periods (total 18-20 minutes total)
Also, I am really bad to retain water. So I ate 1/2 of a lemon and followed it by 16 ounces of water. It worked. (Twice I did it before going to bed and was up all night. Ha!- That might not be the best time)
Good luck my friend, I will say a prayer for you to lose this week.

I hope the weight loss doesnt end in loss of limb but i feel your frustration my friend! Hugs and postive energy your way we CAN do this!

    There are so many reasons for fluctuations in weight day to day. Are you tracking sodium, or, are you drinking all your water, measuring food, etc. We have to look at the total picture. Limit unhealthy foods and exercise is the key but it takes time to adjust to all of this , so, please just keep correcting as you go along and the weight will come down. emoticon emoticon

    I understand your frustration! I lost 6 pounds initially, then I gained 2 back and for the last month and a half I have gone back and forth between those 2 stupid pounds! Finally, this morning, I weighted myself and I lost 2.4 pounds, so now I am .4 pounds down from my original weight loss of 6 pounds!
The point is don't get down about it, just keep doing what you are doing and it will eventually come off. Maybe your body is adjusting to the changes you are making!
Keep going, you can do it!!!

    emoticon Just try and focus on how you feel, how the clothes fit, etc. The scale will catch up eventually.

    Please... Keep your limb. Maybe you are focusing on the scale too much. Sometimes the scale doesn't make sense. You gain when you feel you were perfect and lose when you ate something you shouldn't. In the long run, the scale tells the truth about what's been going on. What was different about when you were 246 and lost 20 pounds? Anni

    Do you have an old style scale or a digital one? Does it have batteries?
I finally threw the old scale away 3 years ago and really like the digital one much better. I may see fluctuations but notice it the most when I eat too much sodium. You may need to be careful with salt, if you are not doing so already.

  I'm having the same issue. I think I'm sneaking in food, however, and not counting it. I know I am. This week I'm going to be very, very true to the food log and see if my problem isn't that.

I'm with you though. Very, very frustrating. But we gotta keep on keepin' on!
