Yesterday wasn't a good eating day. Went way too long without food, and was way too hungry when I sat down to lunch at 3 pm. My father-in-law made a delicious Sunday dinner of roast, potatoes and gravy, green beans, homemade bread and butter. And later a cream cheese pie with cherry pie filling which I had two servings. I knew better than to have two pieces, but that didn't stop me. I was reminded of my eating faux pa again when I went to bed and the heartburn kicked in.
But that's all ok because I woke up today with renewed determination to try harder to feed myself and my family a well balanced diet, and eat in moderation. So far so good. Oatmeal and coffee for breakfast. A weight session at the gym, apple and peanut butter for a snack and my mind set for a healthy happy day!
