I remember sitting down on my computer the summer before my freshman year. I believe I was about 140 pounds. I remember signing up, planning the 2lbs week, letting spark calculate my days until my goal weight. I remember thinking then that those several months seemed too long, I wanted to be thinner sooner.

Here I am, 4 years later, heavier than I was then, thinking "if only I had actually been patient, and stuck with the timeline."

It's funny how time can go so slow or so fast.

    Life has a way of throwing obstacles in our way, but you are strong, beautiful, and AMAZING! You may have struggled. You may have been distracted, but you've never given up.     I think that is the whole point.
Getting to goal weight is not something we should aim to do in a rush - it should be something that happens gradually - and then is maintained without too much stress.

If you start to make the gradual changes, in 4 more years you won't regret the time.

    It's never too late to start! Remember, you're also 4 years older (and wiser).. I'm sure you've learned a lot in the time that's passed, including the virtue of patience from this very experience! You can do this!
