So here's the deal - and it's happened other times in our life together.
I'm trucking along with my weight loss, and then my husband decides to get on the train and drop some weight. He drops weight - quickly, of course, because that's just what seems to happen for guys.
And I start GAINING! We have even less tempting food around, because he's given up ice cream, most desserts, etc. He's choosing to have a beer or glass of wine only on the weekends, instead of any night of the week - I'm not drinking alcohol at all.
He is supportive of a healthy lifestyle, and supportive of me. He wasn't and isn't sabotaging me. I don't believe in a cosmic zero-sum game for weight - that is, if a person loses weight somewhere in the world, someone else has to gain it. So that doesn't explain it.
I've got to break this cycle. I've made solid progress, that I don't want to slide back on. AND I have additional weight to lose.
Anyone else have something like this happen? Suggestions to get me back on track?
