Well, today is Monday. My weigh in day. I am stuck on 236 for the 2nd week. I realize that if I deviate from my diet...even a bit...the scale won't move regardless of how much exercise I do. I really think my medication is holding me back from losing the 1-2lbs I need to make weekly progress. I will not give up!

On the bright side, the scale didn't go up. I am also getting in better physical shape. I am not having side stitches during aerobics so I feel that I am making physical progress. If the inches are dropping and the scale is not...I'll take what I can get.

As usual, I press on...

    A long time ago when I was trying to lose weight & I was working out 5 days a week & watching what I ate , the weight was coming off like syrup dripping from a maple tree. My clothes were getting loser, the instructor told me to not even watch the scale I was building muscle . I got down until my stomach was as flat as an ironing board, my pencil skirt fit so perfect, then I let it all go to my head & now I have a mushroom hanging over my midsection. so I am working to get it off, & this time I will not allow myself to get so heady about it.

    Inches off aint bad, and with your positive motivation moving you forward, I bet pounds will follow. emoticon
