Exodus 20:3
"You shall have no other gods before Me."

Hello guys and gals.
I had a great day yesterday, being able to worship God in church without fear is awesome. We are real blessed in this country. Anyways, I had a good day all together. I weighed in at 285.4 a two pound gain, but I think some of that was muscle mass. I will be checking my measurements in the next day or so. I just cant quit weighing myself throughout the week. I noticed one time I was down to 276 and thought I was going to be able to at least be under my 283 weigh in last week, oh well.

I wanted to try and talk a bit about the ten commandments and I think I will break these up in to 10 different blogs. So here goes.

Commandment # 1: "You shall have no other gods before Me."

We have a jealous God. He wants our full recognition. He wants us to worship only Him, and why shouldn't we? He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.

Lord I thank You for being my God. I praise and worship You for who You are. Lord I ask that You remind me each day to recognize Your greatness. In Jesus's name I pray, Amen.

    emoticon emoticon Good morning!

I'm still enjoying your blogs! They are such a reminder of God and His many ways. I'm still building my wall and with God's help and the friends that I have found on SP it will be complete one day. All in God's timing.

Have a blessed day and wonderful journey to the new you!

God wants to be our "go to". He wants us always to look to Him first, for everything, rather than trying to figure things out for ourselves, and then look to Him as a last resort.

Today I thank God for providing me with a husband I did not want, at a time when I did not want one. There is no doubt in my mind that my husband was God's will and choice for me, because of the way that God brought him into my life. I will be forever thankful, for I would have done a lousy job of picking one out, and my timing stinks, while God's timing is perfect. We are celebrating 25 years together, and I look forward to at least 75 more. Yes, I am that optimistic! emoticon

Faith leads us in life and success or failure teaches whether we are following or drifting. God Bless Everyone! Vic.
