We didn't get around to trying the recipe again but it's on the plan for next Saturday. I'll take pictures and post the recipe at that time. I found some similar recipes and I think the next version will be even better. I intended to post the recipe yesterday, but my thoughts went sideways and I didn't realize it was missing until reading comments.
In my other news...
I slept almost 10 hours last night...that NEVER happens. I'm an early bird even when I'm sick. That extra sleep was awesome!
We started the day at the gym and ended up doing a lot of cooking and food prep for the week. All meals through Friday are planned and pre-tracked. I even have a little wiggle room as long as I can exercise as planned.
I'm still not as 100%-well as I thought - my workout made it clear. I still had a good workout, but it took a bit too much out of me. I also noted that my heart rate stayed at a higher rate than normal for the activity level...about 20 bpm. I felt ok/the way I expected to feel during the workout so I wasn't worried, though I'm going to keep my eye on it it this week.
I'm adjusting my miles by 2/8 goal to 125 (from 150). However I'm still not set on the goal because I'm not quite 100% past this stupid flu. I'm going to monitor my progress and adjust if needed by the next weekend. I believe goals should be attainable and reviewed and adjusted and I don't take this change as a sign of failure at all. Life (or the flu) happens and I have to keep it real.
