1/20/13 What I Choose To Celebrate Today (A Day With My Daughter)
Sunday, January 20, 2013
Yesterday when I woke up, I felt great. I dressed for the gym and decided to wash the bedding I had lived in for the previous two days. I went down the stairs with a bundle of bedding and up the stairs huffing and puffing, dizzy, ready to sleep. Gym was out of the question. I took down Christmas decorations, I went to a friend's kick off party for her new Pamper Chef business. Came home and found the house was cleaned and bleached down by hubby. I took a very peaceful nap. Picked my daughter up from work. Came home and took the variety of meds and then to bed. I slept so sound.
Woke up this morning feeling great again, but with reservation. I did some stuff around the house to make sure to see how that left me, and all was food so I went forward to my day with the daughter. We planned a day of shopping for prom dresses near the southern border of the state so she could practice highway driving. She drove a total of four hours today.
Our day included dress shopping, lunch, gym, a break at home for dinner, then ended it at the movies to see Les Mes. OMG, AN AMAZING MOVIE!
I got in 35 minutes of fat burning on the bike and strength training on the circuit. I avoided cardio because I still have a touch of this respiratory infection. It did feel good to go to the gym today.
