Sunday Check in #3

Sunday, January 20, 2013

Hello sparkies.

I dont have a lot to say today but I want to continue the tradition of sunday check in and here whats going on with you all!

We went to the movies friday night and saw Gangster Squad which I found very entertaining (Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin and MY HUBBY? Whats not to like!).

Yesterday I had to go meet up with a customer so it was uneventful and then today, I had plans to watch the NINERS win but Kady asked if I wanted to go to IKEA so I did that instead. I stayed off facebook, DVR'ed the game and didnt hear any info on the radio. We stopped at Michaels craft store on the way home and as I checked out the clerk (noting my 49er t shirt) said, Hey I heard they won! lol

I almost made it home to watch it but I found out they won instead.

Anyway, it was a low key weekend which is nice on occasion. I had some good meals and some treats, good choices and bad so it was kind of a mixed bag as far as nutrition goes but I walked 2 out of 3 days so I am probably even.

Tomorrow, Frank and I are going to Monterey for the day to sit in the warm sun (it has been freezing here, yo!). We always take sandwhiches for our lunch and our big lazy chairs, as well as binoculars to check out whales and such. Should be a nice day. Heck, I may even get a seafood dinner out of the deal if I play my cards right!

Hope you all had a great weekend and have plans to give things your best this week. That is my goal...

My eating has been okay, it needs improvement, in terms of what I am eating and how much. My goal is to make positive changes with that this week. I also need to get in 2 workouts a day from today-Thur for the challenge I am doing. I want to push myself and really commit to this.

Have a great week!

Did you see any whales? Seafood dinner? Details!

As long as the 49'ers weren't playing the Bengals then they can win. I hate not being able to see my boys play up here. Who wants to watch Detroit??? LOL

i worked hard, and didn't run (ice under the snow). now i know why i want a fitbit (to count my steps/mileage whatever on the nordic track). also feel like a baby who doesn't want to do it if it won't "count". enjoy Monterey!

Well, this was my transition week from sick to well. I did go to work but not to Pilates. Took a couple of 1/2 hour walks with the dog, and 1/2 hour on the bike. Next week it's back to Pilates and more moving in general. My body is not good. I still get tired easily. My knee is bothering me and my skin is sensitive. The Chinese doc says the sensitivity is connected to my immune system fighting off the cold and bronchitis. I think this next week will get me back to normal. I gained a few pounds being sick and not moving.

Have a lovely day in Monterey! It was freezing down here and now it's 78. Enjoy the sun.
