This week was a rough training week for me.
You see, I spent a lot of hours in the office and had NO desire to go out and run when I knew it'd just make my day longer. UGH I hate that mindset!
I was slated to do 12-18 miles total last week - and I did a paltry 7. Let that sink in. 7. That's not even HALF.
Yesterday I did my 5 miles in just over an hour. I felt pretty good; but, as I sit here and think about what I was supposed to have done it feels so.. minuscule.
This week I have to hit it and hit it hard. The scary-long runs of 7+ miles don't start until March; but, now is the time that I'm supposed to be building up my mileage! If I don't set good foundation now, well, I know it'll be a ROUGH training session in March.
Tomorrow I have 5 miles slated; and it's supposed to be frigid. I hear of these things called 'treadmills'; but, I have no interest in them
I gotta rock it.
Also - consumed a ridiculous amount of Skinny Cow fudge bars today. Note to self: They are no longer welcome in the house.
