5K Training ~ Days 56 & 57

Well I seem to be doing a lot of double entries. That was not my plan when I started. I did plan to do an entry a day. My bigger plan was that by making entries based on my training I would keep training. That part has worked! I have kept moving forward with my training even on days I really did not feel like it simply because I did want my entries to just stop with out me reaching the end of my training schedule.

So yesterday Day 56 was rest day. I did not even walk my dog. My son took him. I had a lot to do. So I actually did a full rest day.

Today Day 57 I ran. I was a little worried since I only ran once last week since I was sick. I did well however. I ran 26 minutes straight today after a 5 minute warm up and I did a 5 minute cool down also. My distance was 2.30 I ran at 4 1/2 mph. I did slow my pace a little since I only ran once last week. It was a good workout.
