I have every other Sunday off, and I have declared it "lazy Sunday".
I watch TV and sit on the couch and pretty much do nothing. Well, I do something because I am incapable of doing nothing. I usually do laundry and some cleaning.
Last night, my boyfriend and I went to dinner and the movies. We went to Chili's to eat. I am surprised at how "bad" their food actually is. They do have lighter options on their menu ( I chose the Margarita Chicken) but you have to chose VERY carefully! We did the 2/$20 which includes an appetizer. I didn't eat any, but he got the 1/2 order of Texas Cheese Fries. I looked up the nutritional info just because... 1240 calories just for a 1/2 order! He ate them all. Oddly, the thing I was tempted by the most wasn't the fries, cheese or bacon. It was the slices of jalapeņo peppers. My meal, had I ate the entire thing would have been 650 calories. I ate a little under 1/2 of the dinner and will be eating the other half tonight for dinner. My boyfriend got the Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadilla which was 1450. I shudder to think! Post op, between his appetizer and meal he consumed more calories than I do in 3 days!
We went to see Zero Dark Thirty... I wasn't that impressed. It was long, and for the most part boring. I think it is a good story, but I think it would have worked better as a documentary.
I have the week off work and am looking forward to going to the gym and doing a whole lot of nothing
