Day two: No soda!

I was presented with a soda today, that was fresh from the fountain and ice cold. I could of sucked that baby down, but for the next 6 weeks, I've decided to not have ANY soda. I turned it down!!! It's been over a year since I've had a Coke. So I only have Sprite and Sierra Mist now! Yippy! Small victories folks, small victories...

  I like to add ginger ale to juices and it's a nice additional to punches as well. I'm a Diet Pepsi drinker and enjoy it. The regular sodas are way too sweet for me. Keep up the good work and remember, one day at a time, Sweet Jesus! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Congrats on your success!!! If you ever feel close to breaking, try some grape, apple or orange juice (or hot chocolate_. They may not be low-calorie (although you could dilute them with water), but they're not soda, and that's the goal. No soda! Keep up the great work! You can do it!

    Good for you!!! Getting off of caffeine is very difficult. I haven't had a soda in over 15 years. When I quit, I had headaches every day for 2 months straight...yuck! Decided I didn't want to every go through that again. Blessings!! emoticon
