My little Secret…..

So my little secret is that….. I’m Losing Weight.

Silly as it sounds, I have a few friends on face book, sharing day in and day out, about their PT Sessions and Salads and every other thirty second weight lost activities that they are doing that day, and while I am super excited for them, and always try to add encouraging comments, it makes me wonder why I haven’t decided to share my experiences.

I think it’s because I have always had issues with my weight and every time, I decided to share what happening with me, I fall right out the back door of the wagon.

This time, I’ve decided to the take the whole silent achiever approach, I’m due home in 3 weeks, and I believe that they will already notice a big difference in me, I have a support team, My Husband and Mum (Via phone) and the rest is made up of the bigger world of spark people, the friendly comments make me feel more appreciated and want to do better.

Weekend of Week 2;

So Friday afternoon, I made a few goals, and on the plus side kept consistent with all, maybe a little less than I could have, much a lot better than the previous weekend, lesson learn.


*Lost about 2 kgs :) :)

*My often activity phobic husband, got up early with me on Saturday morning and came to the pools, and has even said yes to coming with me again.

*Had Pizza on Saturday night, prior to ordering, went online and worked out the nutrition content, resulting with a vegetarian pizza, nearly unheard of to my meat loving family, but enjoyable.

*Finally put my foot down about hot chips (My weakness- Eating way too many), with my husband (biggest- not on purpose culprit for sabotage) backing me up.

*Had two choc muffins last night, very yummy…not good at all, I was just going to take it and write it off to my hips, but guilt came over me, next thing I noticed im in the computer room, swinging along to the 10 min cardio kickboxing video and then followed it up by the low impact cardio video.

Last night my husband told me that he was very proud of me I think it’s because he can see me really determine this time.

Have Home made chicken soup for lunch, so excited.

Need to get back to work,

    Congrats to owning up to your weaknesses! Mine is pizza. Unfortunately twice a week. Once with Hubby every friday night and again every monday night with one of the guys from work. emoticon I try to cut back on it, but it's so good!!! I will get there. My will power is increasing.

    Way to go! I'm taking the whole silent achiever approach too, but I probably wont get to see my friends/family for about 6 months. I really cant wait to see their reactions! And way to put your foot down! You keep going like this and you will make your goal before you know it!
