January 20th. Wow, I can’t believe the month is almost gone. I feel good about how I have been progressing.
I have kept my 10 minutes a day or more exercise streak going.
I have to keep tweaking my calorie burn amount so I don’t get “THE MESSAGE”.
I am apologizing ahead to any one from the mainland who may read this, but my fellow Hawaii Sparkers will understand.
It has been BLOOOY COLD this past week. One of my co-workers posted the weather report for his area on Facebook, and it was 59*. I had 3 blankets on my bed and my fleece pajamas. When you are used to an average of 80*, anything under 75* is nuts. Getting out of bed and putting on workout clothes definitely does not appeal, but I did it. One good thing; I am kind of bad about changing out of my sweaty clothes right away if I am not going anywhere. With it being so cold, I do not want to get chilled, so I shower before I start my breakfast.
I have come to the conclusion that I am going to have to stick with Walking and Biking for my Cardio.
I have SP’s Cardio Blast with Coach Nicole, and I tried a couple of the groupings on it. At my current weight, it is too much strain on my left foot (I had a torn tendon repaired and screws placed to help support the arch).
I have been doing Indoor walking, and some biking, but my bike needs to be looked at. Goal for this week; get my bike to the repair shop. Hopefully, it just needs a tune up.
