Small Steps

So today has been mainly a day of planning....goal setting....revamping and some more researching.

I've decided that:

1. I'm going to start small.....instead of my tracker showing all this weight I have to lose, I'm going to change it to small increments. The first being a13lb loss because I want my first mark to be under 200lb. I believe this is more doable and a larger milestone for myself because getting under 200lb is going to feel great. I know. I've been there emoticon

2. I'm going to begin by changing my thought process. I never realized how important this is to becoming a more healthier me until I read some of the articles here on SP. emoticon I will treat myself with the same care and love and concern that I would anyone else. I WILL be my most loyal fan!

3. Along with the thought changing process, treating myself right for a change, I am going to see my will power for what it is (thanks to an article from one of the partner sites of SP). It is a positive tool that God gave me! Will Power = the ability to make things happen. I have just as much will power as anyone else. I just have to enlist it in a positive way.

I'm sure I will update this more later, but for now, this is a great place to start for me. If it helps you, please leave a comment......that's only a wonderful way of encouraging a fellow Sparker!

    What great goals! I agree that "small increments" goals are more motivating that huge ones during weight loss. Looking forward to cheering when you reach lucky 13

    All are great goals ... I believe that you have a lot of will power .. look at how far you have come in life . You didnt do that by saying i cant do this .. you come through those trials of life because you possess something that is far more in than will power, you have faith and if you have that then you are miles a head of everyone else ... emoticon emoticon emoticon
