Allergic to foods....That I LOVE!

Sunday, January 20, 2013

I have been having issues with gaining weight, bloating, night sweats and moodiness. I had my doctor do some blood tests for hormonal imbalances and also food allergies. It turns out that I am allergic to:
Egg Yolks/Egg Whites
This is just a preliminary test, more testing is to come. But all my issues have pretty much disappeared within 7 days of being free of gluten/eggs/wheat and dairy. I love eggs and peanuts! I love peanut butter toast....I am lost without my beloved foods!!
However, I noticed I sleep better, feel better and my weight is slowly going down!
So going vegan was a good decision, because I was allergic to everything I was eating before anyway!

I have been put on an anti-inflammatory diet and like you I have a whole list of food sensitives, but today I noticed the sores on my legs are quickly healing, aamazing how much effect food has on our bodies

Wow, that stinks but at least you are seeing relief from changing your intake. Hang in there and keep pushing forward!

It sucks to find out that you are allergic to all of those things but I hope this news and your new vegan diet help you to feel better. Good luck!

How fun to find a whole new world of rules of eating! Sounds like a challenge, but you can do it. emoticon

When I first read your blog, I thought maybe you were following "The Virgin Diet" by J.J. Virgin. I don't know much about it, but for 21 days, you eliminate the foods you were talking about and then gradually entering them back. Here's a link:

and I think there is a Spark team -
