YEa!!
DD is feeling better today! No more barfing, she actually kept some chicken broth down, is awaiting the jelling of the raspberry jello I made earlier. I feel very tired, but my workplace just called and asked me if I could stay 3 1/2 hours later tomorrow. I am putzing around here after getting groceries for DD this morning. Chores and got a BD phone call from older sister downstate.
Yesterday, in the throes of DD worshiping the porcelain altar, moms assisted living called to say she d=needed to go to the E.R as she had been coughing all week and was worse. This time they did not wait until i was going to bed, BUT I told them that I absolutely would NOT go there in case I am a carrier of this flu of DD's.. Nurse was shocked that I would not be with my mother, disregarding the implications of me going to the 20 bed house where she lives, passing to them, then the staff and patients and visitors at the hospital!!
I kept pointing out that since nobody had been in the house since they quarantined it, somebody that works there had to be the one passing to the residents.. Nobody else had any contact with any of them!!
I told her to have everybody call me at home,, I refused to infect anybody. She still did not comprehend what I was trying to prevent!!!!!! I asked her how she would like it if everybody there not only had URI's, but vomiting and diarrhea, high temps, dehydration????
Do I hear a DUH??

Mom went to the hospital via ambulance basic transport, they did whatever, x-rays and blood work I imagine, they gave her a Rx for Keflex , sent her back to the home.. She has bronchitis,, one lobe is clear, one is crackling..

Car problems will have to wait, just left voice mail to cancel mechanic appointment tomorrow morning.. will be working later now...

No birthday dinner, but chores and a phone call, my potato soup are okay for me. My best gift today is Kristy feeling better!! Happy Birthday to me!!!
