Today I want to take just a minute to focus on the positive things that happened this week.

1. My kids grandmother who suffered a stroke just before Thanksgiving, left the nursing home and returned to her home with her boyfriend this week. While she still has several deficits, she has come such a long way. She is most certainly the strongest woman I have ever met.

2. Family day today. I am currently watching Finding Nemo with The Littles. The future in-laws should be here soon with a surprise dinner and to watch the game. While I don't care much for football and it makes planning my calories difficult, I am happy to spend the day at home with everyone.

3. With the support of my wonderful fiance, I have recommitted myself to SparkPeople this week. Life is great.

It is wonderful when loved ones recover from strokes and other illnesses....pray she continues to regain all she lost....

I love football over all sports.....the fact that you are willing to watch football with family and be positive about it tells me you are a special woman. Family moments matter so any time family gets together should be a positive experience. I applaud you and hope you have fun and still was able to eat healthy!

Have a feeling you will be very successful obtaining your goal....keep sparking, it helps stay focused!
