Sixty, Sassy, & Still Sparking!

Sunday, January 20, 2013

Wow! I am 60 years old now. Do I FEEL 60? Hardly. I still feel 20. I always have. But year 2012 was absolutely the worst year I've ever had. My mother recently passed from complication of Alzheimer's.

I lost my dear husband of 25 years to carcinoma lymphoma in August, 2012, and soon after I had a nervous breakdown. These past few weeks I have finally started to heal mentally. I need you, Spark People. More than ever.

This sure is turning out to be a bummer, right? lol! Trust me. Just stating the facts but the days are getting brighter, I'm counting my blessings for good friends and family, and I'm going to make these days ahead the best that I can!

Alright, fat. Do you hear me? You have LONG over-stayed your welcome.

Such lovely friends with great big hearts wise beyond your years.

Thanks to each one of you. It's indeed a gift to empathize with other people of the world. I will take a moment to thank each of you personally because your warm wishes meant the world to me and that you took the time out of your busy day/evening to unselfishly lighten my load a bit.

Blessings one and all! I have an appt this evening but will touch base with you all tomorrow.

I'm so sorry for your losses. I hope you do stay with Spark People because there are so many nice people here. I lost 70 pounds while in my 60's. I know you can lose whatever you like.

Enjoy your birthday. You deserve the best.
