Getting Back Into It

Up until mid December I had been a little lax with my fitness. Excuse after excuse. Getting home late from work, having to get up early for work, papers to grade, my schoolwork, housework...on and on. I was overwhelmed with my new teaching position and that didn't help either. Even with the lack of exercise I was diligent in watching my calories so I maintained within a five pound range.

Hubby and I got an elliptical for Christmas and I have been doing a lot better. I do a half hour 4 out of 5 weekdays and 30 to 60 min every evening no matter what time it is. I have been spending the weekends in the saddle of my bicycle. I did 20 miles a day last weekend and doing better this weekend. 27 miles yesterday. Going to LBJ National Park today to ride. Hubby and I have registered for the LBJ 100 in March so we wanted to ride it at least once. Will update more later.
