Make the Sickies Go Away!

Sunday, January 20, 2013

This is purely a vent.

Right now I am lying in bed. My stomach is upset. My head doesn't feel all that great. I am hoping I ate too much cabbage or something last night. Ha!

Our house has been a hotbed of germs. My son spent the entire Christmas break sick. He started with a sore throat that moved on to a headache and then a cough that is still around. Last week my daughter developed a fever. Then a cough started. She is exhausted and the fever is STILL here. We went to the doc thinking in spite of the flu shot she must have the flu. She tested negative. Ugh. And then a few days ago my husband began with a terrible cold.

Three sick people and none of them have the same thing.

Make these germs go away!

Oh NO! You guys are in bad shape, too! I feel your pain. I hope that upset stomach was cabbage-induced only and you are feeling good. Tony got the flu shot, too. We didn't have him tested though. I hope you can remain bug-free and that the fam starts feeling better.

Geez, SO SORRY! Sending germ-banishing vibes and lots of compassion. This too shall pass. Sleep, drink lots of water and herbal teas, eat mushrooms and other virus-fighting veges....stay calm. Hugging you tight!

emoticon emoticon I hate this for you and your family. I know you can't rest knowing everyone else is sick. But try hard not to let it get to you, so you can get better faster. Just think soon you can get out the vinegar/baking soda to clean up the germs. Sending some emoticon your way. emoticon this will pass (soon fingers crossed). Judy
