Martin Luther King Jr isn't the only one to dream big and in honor of MLKJ day tomorrow I want to give homage to some of my own dreams.
I dream of a day when I can ran with my kids without getting winded or having to sit on the bench to watch instead of joining in.
I dream of the day when I can workout in cute clothes from Hibbet Sports. Shirts that have motivating sayings and pants that make your butt look cute no matter what.
I dream of the day when I have a sense of self esteem that I can hold my head high and accept compliments from others.
I dream of the day when food serves the function of keeping me alive and not as a balm to my emotions
I dream of a day when I can run for the fun of it and feel strong instead of goofy.
I dream of a day when I can run a 5k, half marathon, marathon in order to raise money for charity.
I dream of a day when I no longer see 200 on the scale.
I dream of a day when I can wear cute clothes from stores and NOT from the "plus-size" section.
I dream of a day when I reach my goals and celebrate with a romantic trip for two.
Now that I know what my dreams are, I need to make them happen. Quite frankly, Mr King had some pretty high and difficult to imagine dreams in his time. If he can accomplish his then there is no stopping me from accomplishing mine!
