well new years has come and gone and like everyone else I have decided to get back on the health bandwagon. i figure i would wait till the gym clears out from those who start strong but give out. I really hate waiting for the machine.
So today my goal was to do my first 5k in my new kangoo jumps shoes. sadly due to some lap band issues could not. Instead hubby and i did it around the block and got about a mile in. I realized that my lungs are not strong enough for the 5k yet. and that it is time to start training.
I also fell of the smoke free wagon and need to change that too. so i will take my time and get back to that one too. small steps at a time. now if i could just take care of the stress at work so i can get this all done. I know that the working out will give me the endorphins i need to deal with the stress and that will make things easier it quit smoking.
to sum it up i know how but need the will to. and this is my first step admitting it out loud
