He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' "
Hello guys and gals.
Yesterday was a long day, and I have yet another long day ahead of me. But I get to go worship the Lord in church today, so I am looking forward to that. Yesterday as you all know I stayed up with my son Asher. I finally got to bed around 1:30pm, but I didn't sleep very long. I only got 5 hrs of sleep. I woke up and my wife had been cooking dinner, and it was almost done. I had to use some wheel power not to eat at that time so that I could eat later and change my eatting times. Instead of eatting I went for a walk/jog. While I was jogging my back started hurting. Sharp stabbing pain like I had pulled something, but I kept walking and moving and it let up some. I was able finally to hit my target calories and I did good. All of my targets for nutrition was right on.
I wanted to talk about you sparkers for a minute. I want to thank you for all the positive feedback and comments. I know I don't always get to know who is reading my blogs but I hope that you all get something out of them. You guys and gals have been an insperation to me. I see some of you that are where I want to be, and you was where I am at. And it give me hope. So thank you for being here.
My wife was watching Little House on the Prairie, and I heard this scripture and it made me think a bit. I need to love God, with all my heart with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my strength and with all my mind, in order to hold fast to him. I realize that there are times I am going to be weak in body and mind, but I can not let the devil into take control at those times. I must rely on my Lord to strengthen me. This is how I will live my life and I will let it show by my service for God and by taking care of the temple of the Holy Spirit, my body.
Lord I come to You now with thanks and praise. I thank you for Your faithfulness to never leave me, and I praise You for the strength you give me each day. Lord I ask that you would help me remember who I am in you, that you give me the strength to resist the devil and his demons. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
