Mardi Gras Food and Exercise

I managed to get some walking in today without even thinking about it. I went to a Mardi Gras Parade and walked pretty far from where we had parked. Also, all that dancing to the bands that walked by helped, too.

The Six Mini-Meal plan is working moderately well. I gave away some cupcakes that I would've eaten and I made sure that we have lots of fruit and granola bars. If granola bars are really that good of a choice. I have my doubts. I've probably eaten too little today so I have to be a little more careful to bring snacks with me in my purse when I'm going out. The bratwurst purchased at the parade was not planned but I was starving. Anyway, slowly but surely I'm getting back into the habit of eating well and exercising consistently.

I absolutely love going to Mardi Gras! We live near the state line of Louisiana and hubby and I go every year. It's so much fun but you are so right.....you must prepare ahead for the little snags that can end up on our hips emoticon

Sounds like you've got it together and encouraging the rest of us to be more prepared when attending these things.....which honestly, I hadn't thought of until now. So a great big emoticon to you!!
